Something to say for persistence

Ok, so I've been gone for far too long. I've watched the whole series thanks to Daftmink taking over, but only at mp4 quality much to my dismay. We've switched all the bases over to a heavily monitored, heavily used free net access, so I haven't been able to really get on Blogger very well, very often. Much less, update any of the downloads available. I would love to fix all of the requests, but that has to wait until I get back to the States, mid-late February. I'm glad to see there's still some activity every so often, so I'll definitely put some work into getting all of the videos re-encoded while I'm here (at least the ones that I have full quality).

That all said, I did thoroughly enjoy my trip to Japan. For those that aren't aware, the US Military gives servicemembers 2 weeks of Rest & Relaxation (R&R) to anywhere in the world (US-friendly countries) if they serve more than 9 months in a combat zone.

I spent most of my time in Tokyo exploring the city; I especially like Akihabara and going to the Gundam Cafe. I also visited Kyoto, Nara, Nikko, and Mt Koya (Koyasan). It was all pretty freakin' sweet. I ended up in Nara during the Beautiful Moon Festival on the Fall Equinox. Then I spent the next night in a Buddhist temple on Mt. Koya, where I learned that there's no way I'll ever be a vegan (no offense, the food is just strange). I spent my birthday at the foot of Mt Fuji, and learned 3/4 of the way up that the trail I was climbing was closed to the summit. Blast! Nikko itself was simply beautiful. I could have spent far too much money on hand-carved articles at a couple of places, which I did anyways cause I wanted the pretty kitty (seriously). It's a beautifully carved, very detailed 'sleeping cat'.

Now I would have pictures, but like I said the connection is extremely congested. I've got some downtime coming up, so hopefully I'll get some better speeds while everyone's working.

HELLO PEOPLE THAT I'VE MISSED!

I was just reading through what's all been going on lately and it makes me sad that FMA is ending, so I'll have to find something else to upload or something... Maybe I'll follow some other series Eclipse is releasing. Or something similar to FMA, if that's possible? Alas, that will have to wait for far too long; I don't get back until February now! But I'm going to Japan in September for a nice R&R trip. Hoo-rah for me and a nice birthday present for myself to boot.

On a side note, I'm about 7 episodes behind on watching, but at least I've been able to download some of the episodes I've missed. Tomorrow, I might post a picture of myself out here in beautiful Afghanistan.

Ok, so it's not me in Afghanistan, it's me at the air terminal in South Carolina on my way to the Middle East; I couldn't find any good ones of me in-country, which sucks. And that's a military working dog next to me, named Nathan. Best part about waiting at that air terminal for 12 hours, more or less, was the snowstorm and the ensuing snowball fight.

Eclipse is back and their translators agreed to do the rest of Brotherhood, there'll be a new translator for Kaichou wa Maid-sama though.

I found the credit-less openings/endings for the first 2 seasons of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, not sure when I'll get to uploading those.

Well i was abit surprised by the results, though the psp came out in the lead the Ipod wasn't far behind. I think Ipod's are cool and all, but last time i checked the videos resolutions available for them are horrible (like 320x240?).

Ever since season 5 of Brotherhood I've been using a psp compatible mp4 codec, but maybe now after seeing the results I'll do both. Somthing like Sendspace for Ipod's and MediaFire for Psp's.

I don't like the idea of doing more conversions, but hey gotta give the people what they want.

Well after reading the Manga i was shocked to see how much they cut from the Episode.

The Manga pages for this Episode are from chapter 74 page 3 up to the end of chapter 75, the parts mainly left out were of Van Hoenheim's growing up and Izumi being asked by the military to be a state alchemist (did they already ask her i forget ?).

Nothing really important was left out though, and they probably just cut some things out due to the rush they had with the first few episodes (they skipped Izumi's shop keeper all together).

Woo! Eclipse has just posted the torrents for Episode 38. All of the formats have been uploaded now as well. I'll be watching the episode while the duplicates are uploaded to SendSpace and File Factory.

I must say that I really enjoyed this episode, especially Yoki's flashback. Some great comedy to through the episode. As I watched, I realized I have completely skipped these chapters, so I have no idea how accurately they portray the manga. Instead, I just tried to find the beginning and the end of the episode, which goes from the beginning of chapter 72 to a couple of pages into 73.

Okay, I really need to work on posting more stuff, but lately I've been too busy with setting things in motion for when I leave. After this weekend, I won't be available to do the conversions, but I think I have someone who will.

Well anyways, it seems that the episode releases may be hindered by the holidays a little, with 3 releases on Tuesdays and the most recent one on Monday evening. Regardless, the translations and encodings from Eclipse are top notch. My favorite part from the episode is Ed's reaction when he thinks about the talk with Lt. Hawkeye. We're halfway through Chapter 71 in the manga now, so it's going to start getting really exciting with the appearance of some new chimeras.

Making Plans for the Future

It's getting to be about the time where I need to find someone to take over doing the conversions and uploads for this site. The last episode I'll be able to do myself is the release on January 3rd (if there's an episode that week). Now since I've had more time to find out about the situation where I'm being deployed, I may be able to pick up doing the stuff myself once I get there (barring any website restrictions based on locale). So at first, I'll be commissioning the person for about 8 weeks, which brings us to the beginning of March. By then, I should have a reasonable idea of whether I can handle the site from abroad (at slower internet speeds). In the meantime, I'll try every so often to put up a post about how things are going and annoy and pester the person who's taking over.

As far as doing the conversions, I can walk the person through each step of using the software (as well as making it as painless as possible to set up). You will need to get a Torrent client, and there's plenty of those out there, i.e. BitLord, Azureus, or uTorrent (there's even ones that will run off a USB key). There's 2 pieces of software that need to be installed in order to do the conversions for mp4 and rmvb formats and then there's upload managers for 3 of the 4 sites that the episodes get posted to, MediaFire being the exception. On my dual-core computer, it takes me 20-25 minutes to convert each video format. MegaUpload takes just 2 minutes to post the episode (don't ask me why), SendSpace takes about 30 minutes for each format, MediaFire takes about the same, and File Factory takes a little over an hour to upload the avi file. These are all on a standard cable connection with 512 Kbps (64 KBps) upload, well, I limit SendSpace to using just 45 KBps because it errors out less.

I have a few conditions on how they're posted, but it's nothing major. So if anyone can volunteer some time (you don't need to take responsibility for all of the formats), just send me an email my address is at the bottom of the page.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Episode 33

Okay, so now I want it to snow here, because I like winter. And you know what, that just gave me an idea for a Flash game (too bad I don't know Flash). That means I'm going to try finding something similar :D.

And so, this week's episode brings us to the end of Chapter 64 with a peek into Chapter 65, and shows Scar and Kimblee's fight from the second part of Chapter 65. It's all pretty much word for word from the manga.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Episode 32

Another good episode of Fullmetal Alchemist came out yesterday. Now we get to see some of the unrest caused by splitting up Col. Mustang's trusted group and the threats against Winry and Pinako lives.

Once again the anime is following closely to the manga, except this episode expands upon what happens. In the anime, Ed and Al's conversation with Selim and his mother takes place in a private room, rather than out in the library, and King Bradley himself makes a visit. This part really emphasizes the discomfort and apprehension that Ed feels around the Fuhrer. The anime also extends the Scar's ploy of moving to the West while Mei-chan travels to the East. It really helps to demonstrate the amount of effort they go through in order to draw the military and Kimblee away from their true destination in the North.

All of these events take place in 21 pages from Chapter 63 and 64. It really does help to expand the depth of what's going on and the plans that are falling into place. Trying to do all of this in the manga would have resulted in either a whole added chapter or a lot of content squeezed into smaller frames, so I appreciate the new content and I'm sure many of you do as well.

As a side note, I haven't read these chapters before, so I only knew to research this thanks to DaftMink's comment in the BlogChat.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Episode 31

Woo! New episode from Eclipse is out already. I'll be posting links shortly and I will get good RMVB files for 30 and the OVA posted after 31 is downloaded.

Well, I think I've caught up on my sleep from the weekend at the sacrifice of getting episode 31 out right away. But that's okay now, I'm just waiting for the MediaFire uploads to finish and the OVA rmvb will be uploaded as well.

Okay, streaming method that I found before won't play well with Blogger so I'm just going to give up on that and embed the MegaVideo player. For those running Firefox, there is an extension available called Illimitux which removes the 72 minute time limit for watching video. It's still a work in progress, but it does work for the most part.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - The Blind Alchemist

Many thanks go to DaftMink for finding us a subbed version of The Blind Alchemist OVA. This release is by ACG, Anime Club Generation. I haven't checked it out myself, but I've added links at the end of the Brotherhood download page. Again, thanks to DaftMink for the MKV conversion. I'll be working on a MP4 conversion tonight and I'll have it posted by the morning.

And if I can't say anything more about DaftMink, he reminded me that Format Factory may be able to produce a decet RMVB file. I screwed up the first attempt because the aspect ratio was set to 4:3 (Fullscreen) instead of 16:9 (Widescreen). But it also took my laptop over 2 hours to do the conversion. Right now, it's 50% done and it's still taken over 40 minutes. To put that in full perspective, it takes less than 20 minutes to do the RMVB conversion on my regular program on my desktop. For the curious, I use AiseeSoft on my desktop.

A few SendSpace links have gone down as well (older episodes). This will happen from time to time since these files haven't been downloaded recently. I'll post the files again when I get home Friday; I don't have the episodes stored on my external drive. I'm going to check SendSpace to see if I can simply 'renew' my files instead of re-uploading them. *cross fingers* (drats, I do have to load them up again)

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Episode 30

Alright, it took a little extra time to for Eclipse to get this week's episode out, but who cares we got it. I didn't realize that my laptop does not have my RM converter program and I can't get it installed until I get back home. Sorry, all you folks who prefer RM format, it won't be available until Friday.

I'm sure many of you have noticed there hasn't been any poll this past week... I haven't come up with any ideas and I haven't seen any suggestions. I also did not do a review of the last episode, because I procrastinate and haven't reread the manga still. I'll get back from work around 3-4pm and I will put some more work into it, since I don't have much else to do in this area.

So this poll turned out pretty much as I expected, but I do wish I had included a "Some other preference" option. Oh well, it's not like I've gotten many comments explaining why people picked the "missing option" for the other polls.

So yay, Subs are definitely better, provided they're not done by complete amateurs or like the people that Viz hires for doing their translations. Yes, I am knocking on Viz for the horrible subbing they ended up providing, specifically Naruto (now Dattebayo is doing them again). I myself prefer subs; Abbi, I think, would vote dubs before subs so she can get up to do other things without missing anything and so she can quote it endlessly (she's got far too many lines memorized somehow). Now, I have dubs for a couple of animes and I've been starting them up when I go to bed lately, which is really nice except for the TV being on all night.

On a slightly unrelated note, I was reading up on Lupin the Third the other day because one of my friends wanted me to find it for him; apparently the english dubs are better than the subs because there's more jokes.

Also, does anyone know which episode I can find some of the FMA characters sticking out their tongue? THANKS!

Yay, another episode! I was a bit slow putting it up because I was playing card games with some friends. The MediaFire and File Factory links will be up after bit.

Well rather than more or less copying the Wikipedia episode summary, I guess it would be more enlightening to share what I think of the episode in general. Or how somethings could have been done better. Problem is, I don't do that kind of thinking very well, so I'm putting it off for a little bit and I'll post more after I watch it again and reread the manga that correlates with it.

Poll Results: Who's your favorite homunculus?

Now this is a surprising result, at least for me. Gluttony from Brotherhood/Manga makes a big show of being the only homunculus to break double digits. And the top three, Lust, Gluttony, and Greed, have all died with Greed being the only one who has been resurrected so far in the anime. Wrath, also known as King Bradley, is the only other homunculus to stand out from the rest. I suppose this poll probably should have been delayed another couple weeks so that the changes in the recent episodes could have settled (Ling/Greed, Envy's transformation, Gluttony's death). Oh well, guess this will make a good repeat poll sometime later for comparison's sake.

Eclipse released episode 28 at 6:45am for the eastern seaboard, which sucks because that's about the time I usually pass out for the night/morning. Ended up getting my sleep interrupted so I overslept later and then helped a friend out with truck problems. So all of the usual conversions and such were seriously delayed on my end, but lucky for you guys, they're pretty much done now. So now I, myself, am finally getting to watch it 18 hours after the release.

Ok, so this is one that the Colonel has earned, because his flame alchemy just rocks (except when it's wet...). Ed's automail sword transmutation came in a distant second, and it never really stood a chance. I could have included his spear transmutation as well, but... I forgot about it :D. Abbi was the only one to vote for May Chang, so I'm sure she's disappointed May didn't get more votes. I am genuinely surprised that Kimblee's bombs got as many votes as Armstrong's artistic alchemy. It's cool how he can turn almost anything into a bomb, but I don't think it's quite as... special... as the art Armstrong produces.

Eclipse has released episode 27 and it's available via torrent and MegaUpload (MKV, AVI). We've got some new opening and ending music with the new episode let me know what you think of it. Personally, I am not a big fan, but the anime intro/outro that goes with them are pretty good.

I guess I'll start doing episode recaps/reviews/analysis sometime, whatever you want to call them. I think that's something I should have been doing all along, but it's not something I'm good at, translating my thoughts to writing. If nothing else, I'll at least be working to improve that.

That said, I really enjoyed this episode, which was mostly a recap of important parts of the first 26 episodes (first season). These recap episodes are a kind of common way for animes to separate seasons and to provide a summary for when there's an extended break between seasons. At one point, I was going to suggest that there would be a break after episode 26, but TBS (Tokyo TV) was just being lax in updating their online schedule. Now we've got a full season of FMA: Brotherhood, which brought us up to chapter 53 in the manga (give or take a few scenes and clips). The season blazed through the first, say, 30 chapters of the manga in 13 episodes, where the manga and first anime really begin to split into different stories. The series then cut back the pace noticeably diving through 23 chapters in the second half of the season. Giving that as a rough starting point and knowing where the manga is at on chapter 100, I'm going to put a blind guess that this series will run for 3, maybe 4, seasons (I want 4 seasons). It really depends on where Hiromu Arakawa takes the series from here.

P.S. if some of this doesn't make sense, seems completely bogus, or sounds like the ramblings of a mad man - that's just how I am, leave me a note telling me you think so too.

Manga Scanlations for Download

Ok, so I've had the scanlations for up to Chapter 80-something from One Manga downloaded for some time, thanks to a python script I wrote a while back. So the question is, how do you want them divided up? I can zip them into archives by chapter, volume, or constantly updated full download. They've all got pros/cons so I want to know what you want. What I intend to do is make a full download up to the chapters I have and then proceed to release them by volume. If you people actually ask for it (more than kitty and daftmink), I'll post the chapters for download as they come up and then drop them as soon as the chapters make one volume.

Thought of something, does anyone really prefer one format over any others. I'm using 7-zip because, well, it's actually free. It lets me use 7z and zip formats easily and can read just about all other compressed formats.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Episode 26

Hey, I got back none too long ago and the episodes were already out, so I'm a bit behind. It's a been a long drill weekend but I did find out lots of new and interesting stuff. For instance, I can still do my 2 weeks in Japan. YAY!

So anyways, I've got Eclipse's torrents posted on the downloads page and the usuals will be posted there as I finish them.

Alright, all formats ~~except the RMVB~~ have been uploaded and added to the Downloads page. Then I'll upload them to the secondary sites, which takes the longest time.

So editing these posts isn't ideal for updating the status of the downloads page, but it's a bit more permanent than the BlogChat (plus you don't have to scroll to the bottom of the page for it to load). I do wish there was a way to "twitter" a blogpost and only allow the post to be deleted, no comments or title or major separator. If only...

BIG IMPORTANT NEWS!!!

Come this winter, I'm taking a long, long flight to Afghanistan. I've been selected for deployment, so I'm going to be gone for a while. Abbi will be picking up the work when I leave, so you don't have to worry about the site going dead.

So yeah, this is a great follow-up to my request for help, isn't it? I'll have some internet and email access, but I don't know how much. If nothing else, Abbi will have to post stuff for me. There go my plans to do my "2 weeks a year" in Japan...

Anyways, I didn't get very far on the video conversions, because they ended up taking a lot longer than I anticipated (mp4s took twice as long as a normal Brotherhood episode). So that's going to go up Sun/Mon, depending on when the next episode is posted. Well, I have to get up early tomorrow, so I'm going to count myself out for the night. Take Care.

I need a helper/motivator

Ok, so I've got this motivation problem... With Abbi helping me on the site, it wasn't really an issue, since there was someone else (I'm weird and don't like doing things on my own). Over the past week, the only part of the site that I've really felt like keeping up to date was the downloads, because that's what people really come here for. So anyways, I need someone to help with tidbits of the site, like coming up with polls (I'm out of ideas already) and putting wallpapers on the photobucket account. This is pretty pathetic, but I'm just going to blame it on not being a fanboy. Don't get me wrong, I love the anime, I just don't have the urge to smother myself with it.

Now then, there's a way for me to add other authors to the blog, but I haven't used it yet since me and Abbi use the same login. I know a couple of people have already been helping me out with the site, DaftMink and Kitty, but if anyone else can donate a few minutes here and there it would be appreciated. Back to me doing things on the site, AVI and RMVB versions for the original series will post some time this week. They're a bit more difficult to do, because none of the free converter programs I have found will read the MKV files right except for my PSP converter, frustrating... So I'll first convert them to MP4 in top quality (much better than the standard PSP conversion), and then use those to convert to AVI and RMVB. That's the plan for the week/weekend. Also, I've got an extended drill weekend, Thursday-Sunday, so whatever doesn't get posted by tomorrow night, will be uploaded and posted Sunday/Monday. I'm also going to start pulling stills from the episodes that I really, really like (cause I'm picky) and posting them as wallpapers, which I can do this from my laptop over the weekend.

The Flame Alchemist once again trumps Fullmetal; Ed just can't catch a break from the Colonel. Rather surprisingly, Olivier Mira Armstrong actually got votes! Okay, so I wasn't surprised, but Abbi was. Also, my favorite character, Black Hayate, got 5 votes (I didn't vote, and I don't think Abbi did either). Hughes, though dead halfway through the series, still managed to pull 5 votes for his antics and love for his wife and daughter. Havoc also got himself 4 votes, because ninjas with guns are just awesome, even if he didn't have a sword (check this).

At any rate, I'm really glad to see that my 'readership' is growing. Out of 48 unique requests for the new website, I got 44 votes, and I'm thinking I've got at least a few people here from clicking Abbi's name or mine on the prior site. On another note, I'm thinking about making wallpapers out of the transition scenes (where they show characters and say "Fullmetal Alchemist"), and I wanted to make sure that people would want that. I'd also add "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood" either above or below the frame in some kind of script, and if you're lucky (and if I am any good at using GIMP) I'll have it super-imposed over the japanese characters.

Update: Eclipse has posted their subs, so I'll be getting to work on downloading converting and uploading now. Hooray for everyone!

All of the formats have been uploaded to the regular sites. I still haven't seen any requests for a new site or format or suggestion on what site to use for embedded episodes, so please leave comments or email me. I've investigated a few alternative sites on my own, but I haven't found one yet that will actually provide friendlier, useful service. As for embedded episodes, if you don't mind MegaVideo's service, then you can choose the download link for the AVI file on MegaUpload. On their site, you can choose to watch the video by clicking "View on MegaVideo" somewhat below the download link.

Tomodachi is the first one out of the gate this week with their super-fast subbing. According to their news site, they've made quite a few changes:

Dropped the group ASU, who hasn't made many contributions except one person
Increased consistency and no more mistakes like last week's
Dropped honorifics (-san, -chan, -sama) from their translations, because FMA is not set in Japan
New, larger font size
New uploader for episode raws
Moved official torrents off of NyaaTorrents tracker (will still be available there)

Adding Wallpapers

As you can see, I've added a link for a wallpapers page. Right now, it's pretty immature and I'm working on making a good, clean layout for it all. Putting the stuff up on PhotoBucket to make things simple and I'll probably add links to other sites that have lots of wallpapers. Also, if you all want, I can place all of these wallpapers in zip files for download from all the usual places. I don't know if the PSP can handle zip files, so if someone can give me a heads up on that, appreciated. I'll see about writing a script to resize wallpapers for use on various mobile devices as well.

Wallpapers, Wallpaper, Wallpapers. Yeah, any graphic design majors out there want to send me some wallpapers? Ok, definitely going to have to make a section for that then... Embedded episodes... leave a comment on which sites you want for those; YouTube is out of the question, I don't feel like creating a new account every week because they don't allow this stuff. Similar animes, now there's something I can do. I think I'll just make those regularly scheduled posts; it'll be my suggested animes to watch or something like that and ya'll can holler at me about how bad my taste in anime is.

More Music: Umm... the original series OP/ED will probably get posted sometime near future. Maybe I can con Abbi into doing that one, not a top priority though.
Favorite Scenes and Icons: These will probably go up with wallpapers, but they're going to be a smaller part of the effort.

Video formats and download sites: you guys should be posting comments on the download page or using the BlogChat to tell me what you want/need, because my long-distance telepathy isn't very good yet. But since you voted on this poll instead, leave comments here.

Hmm... seems I forgot to put something about Anime Reviews. I guess I should have differentiated between reviewing the FMA episodes and reviewing other animes in general. I could take suggestions about what to review, or I can just make it a part of my regular similar anime suggestions.

Looks like 2nd Lt. Ross and Sergeant Brosh aren't getting any love in this poll. Meanwhile, Ed & Al always seemed to be one vote behind Mustang & Hawkeye. Mustang does seem to get the upper hand on the brothers throughout the series, and he would simply be lost without his right hand, Hawkeye, telling him what he's doing wrong. With less than an hour to go, one voter put them in a tie (about the time I started writing this actually, so it's kinda interesting right now to see if another voter puts one over the other).

Alas, it all ended with a dead tie for first and second with 10 votes a piece, another tie between 3rd and 4th at 2 votes each, and a third one between 5th and 6th at one vote each. Mustang is the overall winner here with a combined 12 votes, but then again he cheated and got himself into 2 poll options.

So we made it back from King's Island in one piece. Good times.

Eclipse has the torrents up early tonight so they have been posted on the "Downloads" page, along with MegaUpload. Currently working on the other conversions and should have them up in a few hours, provided everything runs smoothly.

Everything's gone smooth and all of the formats are about to be available. As soon as RMVB finishes uploading to SendSpace, I'll start on the MediaFire uploads. Then I'm going to bed after a long, hot day riding roller coasters.

Upcoming episode and updates overview

Well folks, Abbi and I are going to Kings Island, an amusement park, this Sunday, but the episode should be up without too much delay. Unless of course, we run into some major traffic/accident on the way back because it is Labor Day weekend after all... I'll try to have my laptop fixed so I can bring that along as backup (power connector needs to be soldered back to the motherboard, PITA). And if all else fails, then I'll send in a post from my phone. Yeesh, I hope it doesn't come to that.

In other news, we've done some updates to the site and added a few things. All but episode 5 is available in AVI format on File Factory now, and I'm working on uploading MP4 files for all of the episodes to SendSpace tonight/tomorrow. I'll be posting those links after 22 is uploaded Sunday night/Monday morning. I've added a site-wide chat (Flash required) at the bottom of these pages that you can use as an alternative for comments/email; I'll also be using it to let people know when the newest episodes are being uploaded/converted is psuedo-realtime. The full versions of the opening and ending songs are available for download (I'll post higher quality as I get them), as well as the accompanying music videos (in FLV format). You can also watch the videos on my website thanks to MegaVideo embedding.

FMA Brotherhood Episode 21 Review

Hey guys, it's Abbi. Just wanted to say welcome to the new site and thanks for stopping by! We appreciate all the warm comments and offers for help.

The latest FMA Brotherhood episode was well-worth the wait. There's darker stuff, some laughs, and some action sneaks it's way in at the end. It's episodes like this that truly demonstrate why this is such a great series.

The storyline is still syncing up with the manga pretty closely. (Chapter 45, minus the first few pages, for anyone who's interested/following it). Looking ahead, the next episode should be just as good, with lots of action in the showdown of Bradley and Gluttony vs. Lin and Lan Fan.

Wallpapers

I'm just testing how to set up wallpaper stuff at the moment, so there aren't going to be very many yet.

Ok, so what I think I'm going to do, in order to save me lots of time and effort, is upload wallpapers in batches to photobucket and post a different scrolling slideshow for each batch. Each batch will be unique sets of images and if I have multiple resolutions of the same image it will be in that same batch. I'll have to test it for a bit to get a feel for how well the various browsers handle multiple flash applets. Otherwise, if anyone knows a good widget or tool for setting up photobucket thumbnail links, let me know.

Added some wallpapers and a new slideshow. This one shows all the images in the album and I don't need to ever update it in the page. This is both the lazy way and somewhat user-friendlier way to do it. Until the album starts getting rather large, you can easily scroll through all of the images using the hidden buttons at the bottom-right of the slideshow. I still really like the first one, but it doesn't let you skip ahead, so you have to wait for all of it to scroll by.
